Purpose & People was the theme of this year's Business Fights Poverty (BFP) and Amersi Foundation conference held on Mandiba100 day at the Nelson Mandela lecture theatre at Saïd Business School in Oxford.

The panel was held after Holly Branson keynote about her experiences running the Virgin Unite Foundation, recorded in her new book WEconomy.

The panel, comprising Anita Hoffmann, David Grayson, Emeritus Professor at Cranfield University, Gib Buloch previous founder of Accenture Development Partnerships and Harriet Lamb, CEO for International Alert, explored the rate of embedding of Purpose in business today and was moderated by Katie Hyson, Thought Leader for BFP.

The day continued with cross-sector workshops and open sessions ranging from Social Entrepreneurships to Advocacy Partnerships and Refugee-Inclusive Business Models.
